What if? What if you could be part of a movement of churches, church plants, missional churches, house churches, organic churches, and others who band together for the common mission of making 1,000,000 disciples?
In the Liberty Church Network pre-conference, we will discuss what that looks like, and how we plan on practically accomplishing that mission. LCN is a tribe and fraternity of like-minded pastors and leaders who have come together for this cause. We are a network initially made up of Liberty University pastors and alumni who have a passion to see people not only come to Christ, but to see them become disciples. We define a disciple as a follower of Jesus who is helping others follow Jesus. Our goal is to help pastors and leaders see the value and exponential impact that can be made for the cause of Christ by focusing on equipping and empowering those within the church to be missional leaders in our cities, nation, and world.
In the LCN pre-conference, Jonathan Falwell and our LCN leadership team will talk about the practical strategy that we have developed to release Christ followers to reach those with whom they live, work, study, play and shop. Our belief is that it is no longer satisfactory to only have a powerful weekend service or an awesome discipleship environment within the church. We must move beyond the weekend to equip, empower, and release disciples to reach those who do not know Jesus. Like the early church that grew exponentially within the first 300 years of Christ’s ascension, we must go back to the basics.
For over 44 years Liberty University has trained pastors with the mindset of “taking on hell with a water pistol.” We believe that through the power of the Holy Spirit and through uniting together, we can accomplish the mission of raising up 1,000,000 disciples by 2025.” You are invited to join us, along with other pastors and leaders from all denominations, networks, and models of churches in this mission.
